北欧企業の優秀さより、世界の中産階級が増える中、ますます美容整形に中毒のようなブームを起こしている、ということに納得いかない気分です。

IPEの想像力 1/20/2025
NHKBSのグレートレースを観ました。「決戦！超人たちの天空レース 〜南米・ペルー 100ｋｍ〜」 南米大陸を貫くアンデス山脈。インカ帝国の時代に築かれた道をノンストップで100km、ランナーたちは駆け抜ける。コースは標高4700mの峠を筆頭に富士山をはるかに超える。
インカの末裔、農地で伝統的な作物を育てる家族から、大きな期待を受けて走る少年の姿に感銘を受けました。両親は部族の言葉しか話せず、村から働きに出ることもできないまま、大学へ進んだ息子にすべての未来を託して応援します。残念ながら彼は途中でリタイアしました。しかし、必ず夢を追い続けるでしょう。

トランプ大統領の2期目がはじまりました。就任式、第1日目の報道は、すでに予告されていたような内容であり、だれにとっても驚くことは少なかったでしょう。
トランプ王政と各地の属州の民衆叛乱、それらを制圧して戦利品を奪い合うハイテク大企業と金融資本家の饗宴、貢納、歓喜が続きます。
これがトランプ座の劇場公演です。娯楽大作としてのトランプ大遊園地。おすすめの見ものは、死ぬまで闘う恐竜大バトル。・・・しかし、アメリカの観衆は数カ月で？飽きてしまう・・・と思いました。
次のテロや大災害が起きて、反対派の粛清、独裁化、トランプ王政を起動すると思います。
イラク戦争後の《国家建設》というカオスが、アメリカにおいて再演されています。スリランカ、バングラデシュ、韓国・・・。トランプの妄想に刺激されて、民主主義的統治の脆弱性が嫌悪され、各地で不毛な、空虚な、政治制度の破壊を正当化します。
しかしThe Economistの記事は、この政権の問題を理解するだけでなく、積極的な意味を描き出しました。
・・・問題は、テックとMAGAがアメリカ第一主義に賛同していると言うとき、彼らが意味するところは異なるということだ。マガ運動は、製造業の全盛期への不可能な復帰を含め、過去のビジョンを回復することを望んでいるが、テックは未来に目を向けている。テックは進歩を加速し、社会を混乱させ、マガが切望する世界をますます遠くへ追いやろうとしている。
・・・互いに戦って行き詰まるのではなく、ある面では仲直りし、別の面では強化し合うことで、おそらくアメリカにとって良い結果をもたらす。例えば、主流派とハイテク企業のボスは、保護主義と移民に対するMAGAの最悪の本能を抑制できる。その一方でハイテク企業の改革に向けた賢明なアイデアは、政治的に賢明な方法で実行に移される。アメリカには規制緩和と革新が必要だという全員の合意は、この計画に有益な勢いを与える可能性がある。

トランプは老人です。今後のシナリオは、政権内部とMAGA運動の力学を読む助言者たちの力量によるでしょう。
グローバリゼーションの理想は「まっ赤なウソ」になりましたが、その真実は帝国ではない世界政治の要請です。
もう一つのグレートレースは、6000メートルの峠を3つも越える、氷河地帯の40キロでした。神々の聖域を進むランナーたちが、自らカメラを持って、地球温暖化で溶解する氷河が湖を決壊させ、下流の村を全滅させる危機を伝え、華美な文明を生きる自分や人びとの反省を促します。
