人類の組織的暴力が示す破壊は、ガザ、ウクライナ、スーダン、シリアで明らかです。
ロサンゼルスの大火災の映像にも息をのみます。人類は、戦争だけでなく、都市や化石燃料でも、自然災害の姿を変えているのか、と思いました。
東日本大震災は、福島原発事故が重なったことで、日本経済そのもののデフレ脱却や産業の革新、高齢化に挑む、企業や政治の指導力をそこなったかもしれません。
能登半島の被災者は、地震に襲われ、その回復に向けた力を、続く水害で奪われたと報道されています。日本の周辺部、人口流出や産業の空洞化が進んだ、高齢者たちの生活を、だれが、どのように支えるのか。
社会の連帯を示し、組織的な再建に向けて、企業や金融市場を動かし、さまざまな課題に対する最新の技術的フロンティアを実現した解決策として、その土地の声に形を与える。敗戦や災害には「フェニックス効果」がある、と言われます。

「西側諸国もブルボン朝の過ちを避ける必要がある。」 ・・・どういう意味だろう？

イスラエル、トルコ、イラン。その指導者、ネタニヤフ、エルドアン、ハメネイのことです。宗教的原理主義、核兵器、反対派への弾圧、暴力のエスカレーションを招く報復を互いに繰り返した。
「なにも忘れず、何も学ばない。」
独裁者たちは、後継問題で危険な時期を迎えるでしょう。また、停滞した帝国に現れる新しい指導者が革新を導く可能性を指摘します。
シリアのアサドが失脚後、新しい指導者の権力を安定化するために、西側は積極的な支援を与えるべきだと思いました。

ロサンゼルスの火災では、ドナルド・トランプとイーロン・マスクが、民主党のリーダーの一人、カリフォルニア州のニューサム知事を攻撃した、という報道がありました。
大火災はカリフォルニアの「目覚めた」政治、移民や難民によって、拡大したのでしょうか。大統領選挙でハリケーン被害をめぐってバイデンを攻撃した、ＭＡＧＡのフェイク動画や噂話と同じ、民主的連帯への焦土作戦ではないか。
他方、The Economistの記事によれば、死の危険を冒しても、ロシアの攻撃に苦しむ国境に近い村へ地元の新聞を届ける人たちがいます。住民たちは「新聞を手に取り、鼻に当てて、新聞紙の新鮮な匂いを嗅ぐのです。」 ロシアのプロパガンダに屈しない。ウクライナを支援する世界がある、と知るからです。
