世界秩序は、安全保障だけでなく、生産や金融の構造においても深く変化しました。
ドローンやAIが普及する戦場と、領土を奪う塹壕戦、インターネットとグローバル・サプライ・チェーンを介した、選挙や戦争の境界を超える影響、経済制裁とその効果、インフレーション、柔軟な経済構造と成長の減速、監視技術、豊かな国でも貧しい国でも、政府の財政赤字、債券市場、金融政策や金融秩序の将来、それらの相互関係が新しい形で国家を互いに組織し始めたようです。

年末の買い出しというより、ネットでの購買とデリバリー・サービスが、梱包材の累積を玄関先に残していきます。森林を消滅させる都市の焼却施設に、緑の惑星から空爆が行われる、という幻を観ます。
少子化が逆転する見通しもなく、人口の動態を支配し続けます。若い労働力の不足、製造業の海外移転、出稼ぎ労働者、倉庫、トラック運転手、再配達、置き配、国際物流、コンテナ輸送、イエメン沖、安全保障、ガソリンや穀物を、価格がわずかに上昇するだけで、貧しい国から奪います。
ラッダイトの真実が何であったか、スキデルスキーやアセモグルは技術革新について再考を促します。

市役所に行きました。法治国家で、地方自治体や公務員の役割が重要になる、という視点が、市民権や地域通貨、経済の繋がりを復活させる可能性に期待します。
ロドリクやスキデルスキーが指摘する、国際貿易や職場の合理化より、「良い労働」を重視する姿勢の方が、私は好きです。
