自由ｖｓ公平性、アメリカ・ファーストｖｓ国際協力、ナショナリストｖｓリベラルな諸価値、ウクライナ支援反対ｖｓ継続、債務、石油補助金、社会保障。
日本の政治は二極化というより自民党一極化です。無風、もしくは、安倍政権への賛否が問われます。女性の活躍や少子化対策、非正規で増えた職場に吸収される若者、やり直しを唱える「ハローワーク」、学校教育でも愛国心と合わせて投資文化を奨励し、何より、極端な金融緩和策で株価の上昇と、円安、輸出、デフレ解消をはかり、「日本復活」と宣伝しました。

高度成長のモデルとは、人口の増大、都市化にともなう社会資本の充実、農業から製造業への産業構造の転換、化石燃料の利用拡大、など、さまざまな1度きりの歴史的変化によるものでした。泥道を舗装し、どぶ川を地下に埋めて、幹線道路や鉄道、高層ビルを建てました。日本が再びそのような時代を再現することはありません。
脱グローバリゼーション、米中の地政学的対立、ＡＩやロボットの普及、エネルギー転換、先端技術・半導体の産業政策、など、次の成長を担うモデルが見えません。特に、農村から輸出向けの工業部門に労働者が大規模に移動した、韓国、台湾、中国のパターンを日本が再生することは、もはや望めないでしょう。
The Economistの記事は、21位世紀のモデルを求めて、人口14億人のインドと2億7000万人のインドネシアとを4つの視点で対比します。（製造業ではない）輸出部門がある。産業政策の対象と姿勢。米中対立における地政学的な位置。指導者の権力強化と安定的な継承メカニズム。
しかし、米中による国際システムをめぐる対立は、国際金融市場やＩＴ技術のもたらす圧力とともに、成長をめぐる「中所得の罠」を、はるかに多くの国でも生じているように思います。
あるいは、私たちを含めて、世界が「高所得の罠」に苦しむ時代かもしれません。高齢化、高貯蓄、デフレ、世界貿易は縮小し、政治的なリスクの増大に対して、社会保障と防衛費のために増税し、生産的な投資が慢性的に不足します。
社会保障改革と債務危機、街頭デモや政治の不安定化は、工業化に支えられた「福祉国家」が揺らぐ中で、何が暮らしや幸福をもたらす経済をもたらすのか、それが実現できる社会と政治の力が問われていると思います。
高速・大容量の最新スマホやネットのゲームがあれば、自動車もテレビもいらない。巨大都市や巨大企業の猛烈サラリーマンにもなりたくない。むしろ、バブルを繰り返すような金融緩和ではなく、国際的不均衡を拡大する輸出型の成長モデルでもない、気候変動の危機や高齢者への介護を充実させる投資による安定した雇用創出、田舎で豊かに暮らすための、投資を促す産業政策が必要なのでしょう。

今、選挙が問うものは何でしょうか。さまざまな技術革新を通じて、豊かな生活、安定した雇用をもたらす見通しを示してください。
グローバリゼーション、デジタル化、金融、サービス、アミューズメント、生命・医療、次世代のエネルギーや食糧、それらがどのような形で結びつき、組み合わされるのか？
観光立国として、ブータンの自然や、ベルギーの歴史に負けない、とても美味しい庶民の食堂から、高級レストラン・料亭までを、全国に配置する。
新しい農業と雇用を重視して、四季を楽しみ、梅雨を生かした、グローバルな水危機への対応、環境・野生生物保護を実現する楽園を、現代のデジタル社会に有機的に組み込む。
すこしだけ未来を観たら。・・・若者も、老人も、失業者も、移民労働者も・・・投票所に並んで、そういう理想の力を信じ、新しい社会に向けて協力できる政治を実現するために、候補者たちに1票を投じています。
