世界のポリクライシスに関心を持つAdam Toozeが、日本のニュースで、50歳の女性が出産していない率（27％）に注目していました。新聞記事を検索すると、たとえば、日経新聞にあります。「生涯子供なし、日本突出50歳女性の27%―「結婚困難」が増加」（2023年1月11日）
OECD諸国で「生涯無子率」が次に高いのはフィンランドの20.7％です。最近では、もっと高い。おそらく人口の30〜40％が「生涯にわたり子を持たない」のです。そういう社会では、家族や世代という感覚が消え始めるでしょう。
家父長制の支配構造が、政治でも、企業でも、執拗に継続している一方で、性の解放や避妊、中絶、離婚、法制度の転換などは、女性に出産や子育てを強制できない時代になりました。そしてインターネットは、性愛的な社会関係を深く浸食し、人間の存在理由を家族や学校、宗教的感覚、歴史や文化の共有がもたらす親密さから、切り離しつつあるように思います。
記事は、「諦め」を指摘します。それは若者の「経済力」の低下を意味します。しかし、岸田政権の「子育て世帯への経済的支援」に期待するより、女性の発言力を高め、低賃金労働の構造改革に取り組むほうがよい、と私は思います。
支配的な価値観のストレスは男性を苦しめ、ますます結婚できない、孤独な人口が増えます。中国やインドの人口転換は何をもたらすのか、と思います。
女児の出産を嫌って殺す。捨てる。結婚するための資金や家財を用意できず、裕福な家長に多くの娘が嫁ぐ。男性のカップルが増える。貧しい地域や貧しい隣国で若い女性を誘拐する。貧窮する親を買収する。国際人身売買組織に頼る。地震、津波、台風、干ばつ、その他、災害・紛争地帯から女児を連れ去る。・・・インターネットでは不安を解消する情報やビジネスが拡大します。人工授精。代理出産。養子縁組。リモート・ワーク。・・・遺伝子操作。ギグ・ワーカー。闇バイト。自殺。

「日本が世界的に評価されているもののリストには、おいしい食べ物、最先端の技術、カラオケ バーの過剰、赤ちゃんの不足が含まれます。1990 年、前年の出生率が過去最低を記録し、いわゆる「1.57 ショック」が起きました。何年もの間、日本は豊かな社会がいかに老化し、縮小するかの前兆と見なされてきました。」（The Economist May 19th, 2022）
現在、アジアの多くがそれに追いつくか、追い越している、と伝えています。アメリカの人口調査局によると、2020 年の日本の出生率は 1.3 であり、中国本土と同等です。2020 年の香港、マカオ、シンガポール、韓国、台湾の数値は 0.8 から 1.1 の範囲でした。

若者たち（多くは男性）は、気に入ったドールを「お迎え」します。二人で「お出かけ」して記念撮影します。その表情や姿態を整え、着替えを用意し、部屋を飾り、ときには姉妹や家族を作ります。
