北海を囲む諸都市のネットワーク、物流や貿易・移民、企業の連携、投資の経済圏は、インフラ整備で国境を超えた地域圏を実現するでしょう。そして、旧・重工業地帯の政治的中枢から生じる反動を抑える、新しい政治運動や協力の枠組みを創造します。ヨーロッパの経済地理が変化し、ロシアや独裁政治に従う一族を切り離し、グリーン・ビジネスが主導権を握ります。

日本にはないのでしょうか？ いくつかの県・都市が集まって地熱エネルギーを開発し、すべての家庭や産業の需要を満たす計画。安価で豊富な再生可能エネルギーが優先的に供給されることで、次世代の技術革新や起業家を、日本各地の小さな町から群生する計画が、なぜ起きていないのでしょうか？
日本の美しい自然が損なわれる、と心配するのでしょうか？ 神社や温泉の権益をめぐる特別な集団の利益を、地方政治が優先するからでしょうか？
原発など、既存のエネルギー産業・官僚・学者のネットイワークが、競合する新エネルギーへの支援や投資を妨げているのでしょうか？

Reviewを整理すると、その核心には常に政治があります。
インフレと金利の上昇がどうなるのか？ 世界の金融市場参加者たちは、不安定な状態に置かれたまま、小さな衝撃にも、予想外の変動と波及のリスクに苦悩します。
ウクライナ戦争におけるロシアの大規模な反撃が始まるのか？ 中国のゼロコロナ政策が、にわかに、春節の大移動と祝宴に変わるのか？ あるいは、コロナウィルスの変異が進んで、再びパンデミックの逼塞状態に戻るのか？
ヨーロッパの政治も、さまざまな緊張要因を吸収し続けることになるのでしょう。ブレグジットを波及させなかったとはいえ、ＥＵの拡大に関する内外の緊張は解消されそうにありません。ウクライナからも、中東やアフリカからも、次の難民危機が始まるでしょう。その条件はＥＵ内部の政治状態にあります。

SNSで強盗や暴力を誘って報酬を与える、闇のビジネスが成り立つのも、社会に対する帰属意識や仲間への共感・連帯が失われたからでしょう。バラバラになった自分の欲望、金銭だけの「合理的な計算」、儲けの「効率」を絶対視する感覚が、富裕層や政治支配層の腐った言動を描く映画や物語によって広まり、正当化できると思うのでしょう。
NHK「若き医師たち 成長の記録 こうして僕らは医師になる〜沖縄県立中部病院 研修医たちの10年〜」を観ました。そして何度も、若者たちの苦闘の日々に感謝しました。
私的な富に幻惑される若者や、政治権力を支配する老人たちがいるとしても、こうした若者たちもいるのです。すべての若者たちが、自分の拠って立つ暮らしと、それゆえ、社会秩序の正しさを痛いほどに感じる、研修医であってほしい、と思いました。
