Rome

The Trevi fountain
is the biggest baroque fountain in Rome and one of the most famous fountains in the world. People throw coins while praying several wishes. There are some ways to throw coins according to what they wish.

Piazza di Spagna is one of the most famous squares in Rome. It is well known for the scene that Princess Ann(Audrey  Hepburn) eats gelato on this staircase in a movie, "Roman Holiday" although eating is banned in here actually.

Rome has been attracted people from all over the world with its food. There are a lot of popular food such as gelato, pizza, prosciutto, cheese and tiramisu. This is a picture of prosciutto and mozzarella cheese that I fell in love with while in Rome.

Colloseum is also one of the most famous  constructions in Rome and an iconic symbol of Imperial Rome. This was established in AD80 and could hold between 50,000 and 80,000 spectators. People got together to see gladiatorial contests and public spectacles.
London(England)

Big Ben, a big clock tower in London. This tower was establishes first in 1859 and is still one of the most famous landmarks in England. You can see this in a famous Disney movie, Peter Pan.

Underground is spread all over England and us very useful.
For the record, "underground" is a British English. It's called "metro" or "subway" in other English-speaking countries such as the States.

English traditional breakfast.
egg, bread, tomatoes, beans are basic ingredients. People sometimes say food in England is not good but I personally think it's ok.

Windermere(England)

Windermere is a lake district in England whose characteristic is full of nature. A famous poet Sir William Wordsworth loved here and wrote many poems about this beautiful scenery and thought of various things.

A popular illustrated book writer who wrote Peter Rabbit was also attracted by Windermere. She lived here and obtained many ideas for her works including Peter Rabbit from here. She was also positive to conserve lake districts. As her works got popular, she used those royalties for purchasing the large piece of its land in order to protect it from environmental destruction.
Torquay(England)

This is where I used to live for a home stay. Torquay is a small city located in South West England. People come here to enjoy riding boats and  fishing and stuff. In London Olympic, held in 2012, swimming competitions were held here.

There are a lot of ramps and staircases in Torquay. You can see cute and colorful houses standing regularly from the sea shore. Torquay is a birthplace of a female novelist, Agatha Christie known for her famous work "Murder  on the Orient Express".
