  Since I am studying English literature at Doshisha,
There are some favorite stories I want to introduce you.


lLost in Austen (wiki)
tThis story is based on the classical love fiction by Jane Austen.
However, the main character, Amanda is a modern girl who reads and dreams of a dramatic story,
 "Pride and Prejudice".  I learned this drama in the class of my university and it is very good.
In my opinion, literature is an effective tool for imagination.
Braveheart (wiki)
  This is a movie about the independence of Scotland, based on imagination and some academic common ideas a little.
In the history, some facts were thought or created in a way to present the age smoothly or logically and even in a persuasive or mysterious way.
So, movies sometimes have a good effect on thinking old and unfamiliar ages to feel more clearly in modern senses in ourselves. This film became nice
introduction for understanding unsureness about history without difficulty. I recommend to have several opinions to the history by watching this carefully
and creatively, in order to review the purpose of studying English. Also, I have learned the sense of identity with dramatic image. This romantic story is
well-balanced with the situation of the whole historical settings in the film.
