Apple tarte

*Ingredients

pastry:

 2 1/2 flour

 7/8 cup butter

 3/4 cup sugar

 1 egg yolk

1 1/2 tablespoon water


For the filling:
 apple

 100g butter

 125g sugar

 lemon

 apricot jam

 Whipping cream, custard cream


1. Place flour,butter and sugar in food processor. add egg yolk and cold water.

2. Roll out pastry and bake until pastry is light golden color.

3.Put the apples, water and the butter in a pan and place over a low heat and stir until the butter melts until the apples have softened.

4. Press the apple mixture through a sieve using a wooden spoon.

5. Add the sugar and lemon  and cook over a low heat, stirring until it’s thick.  Remove the pan from the heat.

6. Bake until the pastry case is a light-golden colour

7. Spread the apple filling over the base of the pastry case.

8. Arrange the apple slices in neat rings on the top.

9. Return it to the oven until the apples start to turn gold.

10. Warm the apricot jam.
