Activities in Sydney

Sydney offers a lot of attractions regardless of what time of the year you visit.
When you step into the city area, the most prominent feature you notice is probably the fusion of modern and old style buildings.
What makes Sydney more attractive, however, should be the fusion of nature and the city.
Therefore, I would like to tell you things which let you feel the significance of nature.

Whale Watching
When you visit Sydney in winter, you might get disappointed a little bit with the weather
That is because you probably imagine that Australia always gives you sunshine and breeze whenever you come.
You do not have to be disappointed, however, because whales are waiting for you there.

During winter, the whales can be seen just outside of Sydney harbor.
They are not frightened by ships or people that try to get close to them.
As a result, you can see from a distance so close that it is almost as if you can touch them.

Make sure that you do not eat too  much food before you get on the boat or you will get very sick.

Taronga Zoo
When you are asked about animals in Australia,  koala and kangaroo probably come to your mind first.
It is true that koala and kangaroos are the most well-known animals to tourists overseas.

However, you can meet a lot more animals than just koala and kangaroo when you visit Sydney.
The Taronga Zoo in Sydney provides you the best opportunity to see a variety of animals.
You can take a ferry to get to the zoo, and the scenery from the ferry is quite fascinating.
But do not forget to take photos with a koala in the zoo!!

Bushwalking
Before landing on an airport in Sydney, you can see how beautiful the beaches are from the plane.
I bet you to check out these beaches such as Bondi, Manly, and Coogee Beach.
You can not only lie down and enjoy sunshine and breeze but also walk around the bushes between the beaches.
This is called bushwalking, which is Australian style of hiking near beaches.
You can see surprising views while you walk around.
Do not forget to have ice cream at Gelatissimo after the walk!!
