The 2009 Spring Semester Entrance Ceremony was held for the new Nichibun Students and Bekka Students.

On April 2nd, the 2009 Spring Semester Entrance Ceremony was held at the Doshisha University Chapel for the new Nichibun and Bekka students, with 93 new students attending. Including the new students who could not join the entrance ceremony, a total of 99 students (44 Bekka students, 53 Exchange (Nichibun) students, 2 students of the Preparatory Japanese Language Program) started their study at Doshisha University.

The students at the entrance ceremony were full of hope and expectations for their new life at Doshsiha University while receiving words of congratulations by Doshisha University President Eiji Hatta and the Dean of the Center for Japanese Language and Culture Nobuyuki Yamauchi.
